Am letzten Wochenende sollte die Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin stattfinden. Das ist eine Messe, bei der die besten Gitarrenbauer der Welt eingeladen werden, ihre Arbeiten vor- und auszustellen. Aufgrund der momentan geltenden Einschränkungen des öffentlichen Lebens musste diese Show leider ausfallen. Die Veranstalter haben sich davon aber nicht unterkriegen lassen und haben sich spontan eine kreative Lösung überlegt und die Show ins Internet verlegt.
Für uns war es sehr spannend und die Vorbereitungen haben wirklich Spaß gemacht. Wir haben unter Hochdruck zwei Tage vorher noch 4 Videos produziert, in denen wir euch unser neues Atlas Modell vorstellen und Christoph sein Headless-System erklärt. Hier könnt ihr euch all unsere Videos nochmal anschauen. Julian Suhr hat für dieses Wochenende extra für uns ein kleines Konzert aufgenommen, das ihr auch auf unserem Kanal verlinkt findet. Auch auf Facebook und Instagram waren wir an diesem Wochenende aktiv. Besucht uns dort gerne und schaut euch auf unseren sozialen Medien um. Besonders die Bilder der neuen Atlas haben die Besucher sehr begeistert und wir haben viel positives Feedback bekommen. Vielen Dank dafür, das hat uns besonders gefreut! Falls ihr die Show verpasst habt, ist das kein Problem. Die Show geht weiter! Ihr könnt auch jetzt noch der Facebook-Gruppe beitreten. Dort sind einige Aussteller immer noch aktiv und ihr könnt euch sehr viele interessante und wunderschöne Gitarren ansehen.
Natürlich kann so eine aus der Not geborene Online-Show eine echte Messe nicht ersetzen und wir hoffen sehr, dass das nächstes Jahr wieder möglich sein wird und wir in persönlichen Kontakt mit den anderen Ausstellern und den Besuchern treten können.
Zu guter Letzt möchten wir uns an dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlich bei den Organisatoren der Holy Grail bedanken. Es war sicher anstrengend, in der kurzen Zeit eine Online-Show vorzubereiten. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an alle freiwilligen Helfer, die den anderen Ausstellern mit ihren Computer-Tipps unter die Arme gegriffen haben oder die als Moderator die sozialen Medien im Blick behalten haben. Es war ein wirklich spannendes und interessantes Wochenende und wir sind stolz, Teil dieser Show gewesen zu sein.
There should have been the Holy Grail Guitar Show last weekend. It´s an exhibition, where the best luthiers of the world are invited to show their work. Because of the actual restirctions of social life, the show had to be cancelled. But the organisators didn´t give up and had the creative idea to move the show into the internet.
It was very exciting for us and we had a lot of fun during the preparation. In two days we produced four videos, where we introduce our new Atlas model and Christoph explains his headless-tuning-system. Here you can watch all the videos. Julian Suhr also made a little concert for us, which you can find on our channel, too. We also were active on facebook and Instagram. Follow us on social media for more interesting content. Especially the pictures of our new Atlas model was fascinating the visitors and we got much positive feedback. Thank your for that! If you missed the show, it doesen´t matter. The show goes on! You still can join the Facebook-group. Some of the exhibitors are still active und you can see lots of interesting and beautiful guitars there.
Such an online-show can actually not replace a real exhibition and we´re really looking forward to meet visitors and other exhibitors in person, hopefully next year.
Last but not least we want to say thank you to the organisators of the Holy Grail. It must had been very stressful to move the show online in this short time. A big thank you also to all the volonteers, who helped the other exhibitors with their computer knowledge or watched the social media as a moderator.
All in all it was a really exciting and interesting weekend and we are proud, we were part of this great show.
